The acceptance by us of an order is on the understanding that the following Conditions of Sale are accepted.

STOCK

Every effort is made to keep all stock true to name and free from pests and disease. No plants are guaranteed to flower during the year of purchase. Our liability for plants supplied is limited to the replacement of those plants, or, at our option, to a refund of the price paid. All other claims, including those for consequential loss, are hereby excluded.

ORDERS

Orders are accepted subject to goods being unsold and to crop shortages or failure, howsoever caused.

MINIMUM ORDER PER VARIETY

Our usual despatch per variety is in 60's or 40's depending on the type of plant at the listed price.
Our minimum order per variety is 30 plants. (For which there is a 10% surcharge to cover extra handling)
Our minimum overall order is 8 complete boxes e.g 8x60 (480 plants) or 8x40 (320) or a mix. In this you can order up to 16 varieties - if you only order 30 plants of each variety - or 8 varieties of full boxes.
We offer nationwide next day mainland delivery on plug grown plants, - quotations for other areas given on request. Our lead time is usually between 7 and 14 days depending on the time of year.

Please indicate any substitutes that may be acceptable in case any varieties are not available. Unless otherwise instructed we reserve the right to substitute at our discretion.

MINIMUM ORDER ACCEPTED

The minimum order accepted for dispatch is one outer of 8 boxes, (480 plants) to one address.

Cash & Carry is one box of either 60 or 40 of one variety or a multiple of these numbers.

We welcome Garden Societies, Institutions and other bulk orders, so long as they can be packed as one order and sent to one address in the quantities stated above.

PRICES AND VAT

All good are sold at prices ruling at the date of dispatch/collection.

All prices include FREE delivery  plus .88p fuel surcharge per consignment (UK Mainland. For some remote areas and off-shore islands quotation on request.)

All prices are exclusive of VAT. Herbs are zero rated.

PAYMENTS

All plants are sold on a Pro-Forma basis, (Unless otherwise agreed) please do dot send any moines with your order, with the exception of our selection collections, where the total value is stated including carriage and VAT.

Plants collected from the nursery must be paid for with either Credit Card (MasterCard or Visa) or cash. Cheques will only be accepted by prior arrangement.

Your payment can be either Credit Card, Cheque or Cash.

DAMAGE AND COMPLAINTS

Any damage or shortage must be reported within 3 DAYS of delivery. It is essential, in your own interests, that you either do not sign the Carrier's delivery note or sign the note as damaged, if you find damage has occurred during transit. No refunds or responsibility will be accepted by Mentha Nurseries Ltd for plants damaged on transport arranged by our customers.

ORDERS COLLECTED FROM THE NURSERY

Plants can be collected on an "Ex. Nursery" basis, we require approximately 2 working days notice before collection. Opening hours for collections are from 8.30am to 3.00pm. Monday - Friday. Weekend collections by prior arrangement only.

CASH AND CARRY

• Our cash & carry facility is available from Monday to Friday 8am. To 2pm.
• A variable discount is available from the list prices in our main monthly availability list.
• Cheques are only accepted from customers who have an established account with us, if you would like to open an account please supply two trade references and bank details.
• Customers who do not have an account are asked to pay either by credit card or cash.
• Our plants are mainly grown in either 60 x 3cm. cells or 40 x 4cm.cells. All cash & carry plants are sold in these quantities per variety.
• Cash & carry plants are sold as seen, to be collated from our growing beds by the customer. We are sorry but we cannot collate the plants for you on the above cash and carry discounted basis. If you wish to collect the plants yourself, trimmed and ready for potting, a 5% discount will be given, please phone for details.
• All varieties are labeled with a black & white plastic thermally printed pot pointer label.
